1. Data controller

The data controller is EG Production S.r.l., with registered office at Via Cecilia Metella 3A, 00178 Rome (RM), Italy. For any question about cookies or privacy you can write to info@egproduction.com.

This notice is provided pursuant to Article 13 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR), Article 122 of Italian Legislative Decree 196/2003 (Privacy Code) and the Guidelines on cookies and other tracking tools issued by the Italian Data Protection Authority on 10 June 2021.

2. What cookies are

Cookies are small text files that websites send to the user's device (computer, tablet, smartphone), where they are stored and sent back to the same sites on the next visit. They are used, for example, to remember user preferences or to collect statistics on how a site is used.

3. Cookies used on this site

This site uses two categories of cookies:

  • Technical cookies — required for the site to work and to remember the user's choices. They do not require consent and are always active.
  • Third-party analytics cookies (Google Analytics) — used to understand how visitors use the site. They are set only after consent is given through the banner.

No profiling, advertising or marketing cookies are used.

Name Type Purpose Duration
eg-lang Technical (first party) Remembers the language chosen by the user (Italian or English) 12 months
eg_cookie_consent Technical (first party) Stores the choice made in the cookie banner (accepted or rejected) 12 months
_ga Analytics (third party · Google) Distinguishes visitors for Google Analytics statistics 2 years
_ga_* Analytics (third party · Google) Maintains the Google Analytics session state 2 years

4. Google Analytics

This site uses Google Analytics 4, a web analytics service provided by Google Ireland Limited (Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland). Google Analytics collects aggregated information on how the site is used: pages visited, visit duration, device and browser type, approximate geographic area and referring site.

Google Analytics 4 does not log or store the user's full IP address: location data is derived from an anonymised IP address, which is discarded immediately afterwards. The data collected may be transferred to Google LLC in the United States under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, to which Google adheres, and is retained by Google for the period configured in our account (14 months at most).

Google Analytics is activated only after the user clicks “Accept” in the banner. Before that choice no Google script is loaded and no data is transmitted. For further information:

5. Legal basis and consent

Technical cookies are set on the basis of the controller's legitimate interest in ensuring the site works properly (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR and Art. 122 Privacy Code). Google Analytics cookies are set exclusively on the basis of the user's consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR).

On the first visit a banner is shown that allows you to:

  • Accept — Google Analytics cookies are activated;
  • Reject — only technical cookies remain active;
  • Close the banner with the “X” — equivalent to rejecting: browsing continues with technical cookies only.

Your choice is remembered for 12 months through the technical cookie eg_cookie_consent; after that period, or in case of substantial changes to this notice, the banner is shown again. Rejecting analytics cookies does not limit your ability to browse the site in any way.

6. How to change your choice

You can withdraw or change your consent at any time via the “Cookie preferences” link in the footer of every page, or with the button below. If consent is withdrawn, any Google Analytics cookies already set are removed.

Change your preferences

Cookies can also be managed, disabled or deleted through your browser settings. Below are the guides for the main browsers:

  • Google Chrome
  • Mozilla Firefox
  • Safari
  • Microsoft Edge

7. Your rights

You have the right to access your data, request its rectification or erasure, restrict or object to its processing and withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal. To exercise these rights, write to info@egproduction.com. You may also lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (www.garanteprivacy.it). More information on how we process personal data is available in the Privacy Policy.

8. Changes to this Cookie Policy

E-Entertainment reserves the right to update this Cookie Policy, for example when the services used or the applicable legislation change. Changes will be published on this page with an updated date.
